Privacy policy.

This policy explains how Fresh Psychological Beginnings LLC (“the practice”) handles information collected through this website and by text message. It is not a Notice of Privacy Practices, and it does not describe how clinical records are handled once you become a client.

What this policy is not

This is a website privacy policy. It is separate from the Notice of Privacy Practices that governs protected health information for clients of the practice, and separate from the confidentiality terms of any evaluation or treatment agreement you sign.

This website, its contact form, and ordinary text messaging are not secure channels. Please do not send clinical detail, records, or anything you would not want read by someone other than the intended recipient. Leave your name and number, and the conversation moves to a call.

What is collected

Information you provide. If you use the contact form on this website, you give the practice your name and mobile number. If you call, text, or email the practice, we receive what you send: typically your name, phone number, email address, and whatever you write.

Information collected automatically. Standard web server records such as the pages requested and approximate region. The site also uses Microsoft Clarity, an analytics service that records how visitors use each page (clicks, scrolling and session replays) so the practice can find and fix the parts of the site that are hard to use. Clarity sets cookies. Microsoft describes how it handles that data at privacy.microsoft.com. The site does not use advertising trackers and does not sell data.

Call and text records. The phone number published on this site may route through a call-tracking service, which records the number that called, the time, the call duration, and which page or search led to the call. Call content is not recorded.

How it is used

To respond to you, schedule and conduct evaluations or appointments, and carry out the professional services you ask for.

To understand which parts of the site and which searches bring people to the practice, so the site can be made more useful.

To meet legal, licensing, and professional obligations.

Text messaging and mobile information

Mobile information and text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories of data sharing described in this policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; that information is not shared with any third parties.

Text messages are used only to reach you about scheduling, appointments, and questions you have raised. They are not used for marketing. Consent to receive them is not a condition of any purchase or service. See the SMS terms for the full messaging program.

Who information is shared with

Information is not sold, rented, or traded.

It is shared only with service providers who make the practice run, such as the telephone and call-tracking provider, the messaging platform that runs the website contact form and text messages, the email provider, the website host and the site analytics provider (Microsoft Clarity), and only to the extent needed to provide that service.

It may also be disclosed where the law requires it, or where a licensed clinician is legally obligated to act, including a serious and imminent risk of harm.

How long it is kept

Inquiry messages and call records are kept only as long as they serve a business or legal purpose. Clinical records are governed separately by Illinois record-retention requirements and by your treatment or evaluation agreement, not by this policy.

Your choices

You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP.

You can ask what information the practice holds about you from this website, and ask for it to be corrected or deleted, by calling or writing. Requests that touch clinical records are handled under the rules that govern those records rather than this policy.

Children

This website is directed to adults. Evaluations involving minors are arranged by a parent or legal guardian. The site does not knowingly collect information directly from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted here with a new date.
